International Viticulture & Enology Conference
The mission of VitiNord 2015 is to promote the advancement of viticulture and Oenology in northern environments that are characterized by cool or short summers and/or cold winters. The IANV successfully organized an international symposium in 2006 in Riga, Latvia; 2009 Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec; 2012 Neubrandenburg, Germany.
Agricultural diversification is a method to boost rural areas and stimulate local economy. The development of cold climate viticulture follows this belief closely and the Nebraska wine industry greatly supports this event’s initiative.
